Dr. Lara Pierpoint is the Director of Climate, Actuate where she leads efforts to deploy emissions-reducing technologies more quickly. Prior to Actuate, she was the Director of Technology Strategy at Exelon and the Director of the Office of Energy Supply Security at the U.S. DOE Office of Policy and Systems Analysis. She earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Systems from MIT; an SM in Nuclear Science and Engineering and an SM in Technology and Policy from MIT; and a BS in Physics from UCLA.
