Laura Thaxter joined HarbourVest in 2000 and leads the Firm’s Client Service Organization. The Client Service team focuses on enhancing the client experience across onboarding, client administration, service, and reporting. The team also works closely with Investor Relations to enhance relationships with clients and consultants. Laura began her career at the Firm as the Director of Marketing and Client Communications. In that role, Laura enhanced the Firm’s communications efforts and built the marketing and client communications team over a period of 18 years. Laura joined HarbourVest from Thomson Financial where she was a marketing director with the Investment Banking and Capital Markets group, whose product lines included SDC, Venture Economics, Investext, Venture Capital Journal, Private Equity Week, and Buyouts.
