Since 2012, Lilian has helmed iAPPS Pte Ltd as the founding Chairman and CEO. She is an IT and Infocomm veteran with 30 years of experience, including nearly a decade of working on large-scale computerization projects for the Singapore government. She is also a senior member of the Singapore Computer Society. In 1994, she founded Network Integration Systems & eCommerce (NIS Group) successfully developed one of the world’s first Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) over the Internet; developed Singapore’s first Internet commerce management system in 1995; and received the SingaporeONE Pioneer Award in 1997 for the first B2B2C supermarket e-commerce system for Cold Storage. NIS Group was subsequently acquired in 1998 by Sterling Commerce, which is now part of IBM. Lilian was a finalist for the ASME Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001.
