Linda Asciutto serves as General Counsel with the MEDC. She oversees Legal, Contracts and Procurement Services, Compliance, Internal Audit, and the Capital Access teams. Prior to joining the MEDC, Linda was a partner with the Okemos, Michigan law firm, Warren Cameron Asciutto & Blackmer, P.C.; a private practice firm she was associated with for over 18 years. Her practice included representation of privately held and publicly held companies primarily in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisition, securities and loan transactions, and complex litigation. She has been practicing law for approximately 28 years and handles state, corporate and federally funded programs, primarily those involving loans and equity investments. Linda graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Political Science. She received her law degree from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
