Has served as a member of our board of directors since 2008 and is our chairman. Since 2009, he has been the chief executive officer of Genextra S.p.A., our principal stockholder. Dr. Tallarigo joined Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals in 1985 and held various positions in areas of clinical research, pharmaceutical product management and marketing and general management, most recently as its president of international operations until 2008.
