r. Detor is a managing principal and member of the Investment Committee for CarVal Investors, responsible for leading the firm’s investment strategy and management. He also leads the firm’s high yield and transportation investments and oversees capital formation and emerging markets for the firm. Mr. Detor joined CarVal from Morgan Stanley, where he most recently served as managing director and co-head of the global distressed and U.S. leveraged loan business. Mr. Detor has also served the U.S. government as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, as well as serving in the U.S. Army Reserves and New York National Guard. Mr. Detor received his M.B.A. from NYU’s Stern School of Business and his B.S. in accounting from SUNY Albany and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
