M. Michael Mitama has 20 yrs of cyber security and information technology experience specializing in cyber crimes, malware analysis, cyber threat intelligence and Cyber threat hunting. He has built world class incident response teams spanning a multitude of sectors. He currently chairs FIRST.org's Malware Special interest Group https://www.first.org/global/sigs/malware/ building out common processes, procedures And techniques for the analysis of malware. He is also a member of IEEE, ACM and participates in analysis at circl.lu. He has been featured in the wall street journal and ABC News for participating a number of cyber crimes related investigations. He also assisted in investigations for law enforcement.
