Before Mr. Ma founded Lingfeng Capital in July 2015, he had been working with at Goldman Sachs (Asia) focusing on Asian/China financial institutions equity research for 13 years. Within Goldman Sachs (Asia), he had a number of senior roles, such as a member of the Goldman Sachs Asia Pacific Client and Business Standards Committee, a member of China's Operating Committee and the Deputy CEO of Beijing Gaohua Securities (GS China), a Co-head of Asia Pacific Financial Institutions Equity Research, and the Head of Research within Beijing Gaohua Securities(GS China).
