Maciej Skórkiewicz joined the firm in 2016 and as an Investment Director, then become a Partner in 2018. He mainly focuses on portfolio management and new investment deals. Before joining Black Pearls VC, Maciej held positions of CEO, finance vice-president and board member in several early-stage life sciences and ICT companies. Prior to that he was the CEO of Inveno Venture Capital fund and spent 11 years as a Director of Investor Relations Department in Polish biggest ICT company- Prokom Software. Maciej has over 20 years of senior executive experience in fundraising, investments, IPOs, public trading in securities and M&As.
