My Story : I am the founder and CEO of Intro, a simple video based networking platform for investors and startups to connect, chat and grow their relation. For the past 6 years, I have volunteered at many startups where my main task was to help with the fundraise. I have used many platforms, cold emailed many investors and even networked for years to get a chance to pitch in front of the right investors. For the first few startups, I was not able to raise but I have by then used pretty much most of the platforms out there and have understood what works and what does not. It took me 2.5 years to raise a couple of million for a startup that I was helping at last before starting Intro.vc. This time, I spent all my time just preparing a list of investors and hit them up one by one.
