Mara Foundation is a social enterprise that provides mentorship, incubation center workspace, networking opportunities, and business trainings for emerging entrepreneurs in Africa. The organization designs and implements programs which promote entrepreneurship in Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, and Kenya. It runs a mentorship program that partners top business leaders with exciting young entrepreneurs; offers professional office spaces; and develops a venture capital fund to invest in innovative startups. Mara Foundation was founded by Ashish Thakkar in 2010.
