Marc is proud to have an international background and has always enjoyed the thrills of travelling through Asia, Africa and South America. On a professional level, he had worked with several private equity groups focusing on emerging markets, so when the opportunity to join market-leader Actis came along in January 2011, he was quick to take it. Marc is responsible for Actis’s coverage of EMEA-based investors for fundraising and investor relations activities and has over 20 years of experience in investment banking and private equity fundraising. Marc started his career with NatWest Markets and later worked for the Private Fund Group of DLJ (acquired by Credit Suisse in 2000) where he was one of the original founders of its European operations. He subsequently worked in investor relations for RREEF, the alternative investment business of Deutsche Bank, as well as The Carlyle Group.
