Marcin Leja

Marcin Leja (1980) joined the Central Europe & Russia team in 2011. He is the local representative of Gimv in Warsaw. His previous experience includes private equity and management consulting roles in Poland and other European countries. Most recently, he worked as an Investment Director at Opera – a leading Polish mutual funds manager where he was responsible for alternative investments including private equity. He also was member of the supervisory and management boards of numerous investee companies. Earlier in his career he worked inter alia for PwC and Andersen Business Consulting. Marcin holds an MBA from the University of Bologna and is also Associate Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA qualified).
