About

Marco Fernandes holds a Degree in Economics and a Master's in Industrial Management and Strategy, both from the University of Lisbon's School of Economics and Management. For almost 9 years, he has worked in the field of entrepreneurship and the creation of companies as Executive Director of Agência DNA Cascais (the Business and Innovation Centre of the EBN network), contributing to the creation and development of the entrepreneurship ecosystem of Cascais, relevant to the implementation of programmes ranging from entrepreneurship in school and amongst the youth, the incubation and monitoring of entrepreneurs and companies in the seed phase, programmes for entrepreneurship in the tourism sector, in the creative industries and for tech-based companies, to obtaining funding for new companies from all areas of activity. Previously, Marco worked in management consulting for 8 years for public and private entities, both in Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries, and also work in the bank
