About

Marco started working on the web in 1996 when he founded Communicate!, a web agency where he worked on complex projects for medium and big companies such as Alcoa Inc., the Italian Postal Service, McKinsey & Co., Daimler Chrysler, and many others. In 2001 he sold Communicate! to a pre-IPO company. In 2002 he made a management buy-out of Maki, an Italian ISP with more than 10.000 customers, he sold his stake of Maki in 2008. In 2004 he founded Blogo.it, the largest nanopublishing company in Italy with now more than 12 million monthly unique/users. At the beginning of 2007, he sold a minority stake of Blogo.it to DADA Spa (stock DA.MI) an RCS Group company and in mid-2008 he sold another stake. Blogo is active in Italy, France, Uk, Brazil, and Spain. At the beginning of 2011, he sold Blogo to Populis.
