Ms. Scherer currently serves as Vice President and Assistant Secretary of ACRE and may from time to time serve as an officer, director or principal of entities affiliated with Ares Management or of investment funds managed by Ares Management and its affiliates. Maria Scherer joined Ares Management in August 2011 as a Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel in the Ares Commercial Real Estate Management Group.
