Mariana Mazon

Mariana joined IGNIA in 2014. She manages IGNIA’s relationships with Limited Partners and General Partners, as well as all external communications. She represents IGNIA at industry forums and oversees the Fund’s reporting and legal compliance. She also focuses on fundraising and building IGNIA’s strategic partnerships with industry players. Mariana leverages her previous experience working at Ashden in the UK, a leading nonprofit supporting renewable energy companies around the world. At Ashden, Mariana was responsible for the International Program, which involved the creation of a network of investors to back the companies supported by Ashden in Asia, Africa and Latin America as well as managing the relationships with Ashden’s own funders. She also built the business development program, helping more than ten companies a year to develop business plans, secure funding and expand to new geographies.
