Mark Nicolson

About

Mark is based in the Edinburgh office and joined SL Capital in 2007. He is responsible for making primary investments, secondary investments and co-investments as well as having overall responsibility for SL Capital’s primary investment business. Mark sits on SL Capital’s investment committee and also serves as an advisory board member on a number of leading European and global private equity funds. Prior to joining SL Capital, Mark spent seven years working as a lead adviser in the corporate finance teams of Ernst & Young and KPMG, focusing principally on buyouts. Mark is a Chartered Accountant and has a BA (Joint Hons) degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Strathclyde. Mark is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment
