Mark Watts has over twenty years’ private equity experience. He joined KPMG, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1991 and transferring to corporate finance in 1992 and enjoyed a secondment with NatWest Ventures, prior to joining Hill Samuel Bank in 1995. Mark subsequently joined Old Mutual Securities where he was a corporate finance director advising on “public to privates”, AIM listings and private equity transactions. Mark left Old Mutual Securities in 2002 to co-found Dow Schofield Watts. Mark was responsible for the PHD Equity Partners investment in Energy Solutions Group, until the recent exit to SSE plc.
