In February 2011, Mark Woodall came on board as the fourth Venture Partner with a focus on resource efficiency. As a frontrunner in the field of sustainable investments, Mark is supporting our resource efficiency portfolio in expanding and financing their business on a global scale. In the last 15 years, Mark founded and led both Climate Change Capital and Impax Capital, two of the leading independent investment management and advisory companies for energy and the environment in the UK. He has initiated, completed or overseen the establishment of multiple funds and the structuring and financing of dozens of resource efficiency transactions, with a value of some € 3 billion. Furthermore, Mark has been actively engaged in the development and implementation of public policy and finance, in the UK and beyond, to help to deliver the low carbon economy. Since 2009, Mark has been actively developing a portfolio of non-executive roles in the clean technology, low carbon and financial market
