Mark is an experienced Internet founder and executive. From 2000 to 2007, Mark was CEO for QXL ricardo, a leader of online consumer trading platforms. QXL was the best performing stock on the London Stock Exchange in 2005 and the LSE’s Main Market in 2004. It was sold for nearly £1 billion in 2007. He was also Chairman and CEO of Dailymotion from 2007 to 2009. Under his leadership, the Company became the world’s number one independent video-sharing site with over 60 million unique visitors and 1 billion video views per month. Mark is an angel investor, non-Executive Director of Show My Homework, Dynistics and GoCardless and advisor to Spotahome. He has also invested in several other high-growth internet businesses across Europe such as QXL ricardo plc, Dailymotion, Emesa, Digitech, Shutl, Wave Optics, Chirp and Spotahome.
