Marta Sjögren joined Northzone in 2012. Her primary areas of focus are consumer internet, digital health, edtech, gaming, and SaaS. Her portfolio includes HappyOrNot, Labster, Sqore, Seriously, Zervant, BehavioSec, and Aevy. Marta’s debut to the VC world resulted from a passion for innovation and a desire to make an impact in the world. After graduating from the London School of Economics with a degree in International Relations, Marta quickly learned that ‘saving the world’ through established institutional structures wasn’t really happening, so she embarked on an experimental journey to the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP Europe), to develop her knowledge of the business side of things through a MSc in European Business.
