Prior to joining Five Points Capital in 1998, Martin was a Partner of Ernst & Young, LLP’s Corporate Finance group with responsibility for advising middle-market companies in capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate strategy. Prior to Ernst & Young, Martin was a Vice President of Green Capital Investors, a leveraged buyout fund, with responsibility for sourcing, negotiating, and managing control oriented middle-market leveraged buyout investments. Prior to Green Capital, Martin worked for Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE:WFC) specializing in leveraged buyout, recapitalization, and leveraged acquisition finance. Martin is currently a board member of US Drinks and Women’s Marketing. Outside of work, Martin serves as the chapter President and leads the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Piedmont Triad Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He is also an eight-time Ironman finisher including two successful finishes at the Ironman World Champ
