A long time veteran of the entertainment world, Marty worked for over 10 years in theatre, film and television, primarily in NYC. Esports began as a passion for him, when he was writing blogs and running community tournaments in World of Warcraft. After freelancing for a handful of esports startups, he then went on to found Splyce in the winter of 2014, with his wife Meghan Strenczewilk (Business Director) and his long time friend Vincent Garguilo (Creative Director). Splyce has gone on to become one of the largest professional esports teams in the world, with players competing at the top level in nine games across North America, Latin America, Europe and South Korea. 2016 was the most successful year for Splyce yet, with the Call of Duty team making the Grand Finals of the World Championship (The Forum, Los Angeles), the League of Legends team making the European Summer Finals (Tauron Arena, Krakow, Poland), and the World of Warcraft team winning the World Championship (Anaheim Conve
