Marvin co-founded Winston in December 1993 and has over 30 years of investment experience. Prior to Winston, Marvin held positions with Moseley, Hallgarten, Estabrook and Weeden, Inc., Shearson Lehman Brothers, Inc., and John Stewart Darrell & Company. Marvin, together with Jon Scanlon, is the co-portfolio manager of Winston’s funds. He is also actively involved in manager research, client relations and the running of Winston’s day-to-day business. Marvin is a member of the Board of Directors and is the chair of the Finance and Investment Committee of the George W. Bush Presidential Library Foundation. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Kerrco, Inc. and serves on the Investment Committee of Virginia Theological Seminary. He is a past member of the Board of Managers of the University of Virginia Alumni Association and the Board of Trustees of the College Foundation of the University of Virginia. Marvin earned his BA from the University of Virginia.
