Matt Tilleard

Matt Tilleard co-leads CrossBoundary’s investment advisory engagements and investment platform, CrossBoundary Energy. Mr. Tilleard holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he studied as a Fulbright Scholar. He is originally from Australia and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne. At CrossBoundary, Mr. Tilleard has led transaction support and investment climate assessments across a range of frontier markets, with a focus on Africa. Mr. Tilleard’s experience prior to CrossBoundary includes the design of financing facilities in Afghanistan and Sierra Leone, assisting in standing up an innovation unit within the Executive Office of the UN Secretary General, working as a policy advisor to an Australian indigenous leader and a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.
