Maurício Marçal is the Senior Industry Advisor at Microsoft. Mr. Marçal started his career in private equity in Portland, Oregon in the late 1990s, advising companies in the Pacific Northwest on private placements of equity and M&A transactions. During his years in Portland, Mr. Marçal participated in over $250 million in transactions, including the sale of Oregon’s largest privately held waste hauling company and landfill to Allied Waste, Inc.
