Starting businesses has always been my passion. When I was 15 I set up my first proper company called Pixel Crunch. It’s an internet and media company and it utilises the power of social media to put out information. There was a blog website, a YouTube channel, an Instagram account; you name it and we were probably on it. I currently employed around 12 people who, when they turned up for an interview, were a bit surprised that a 15-year-old was conducting it, but they put their trust in me and are still worked till its closure. This has been one of the best ventures I have undertaken out of my comfort zone, and I only wish I have more time now to dedicate to it. During my time at Cisco I was fascinated at how such a massive company operates like clockwork. I was able to chat to different people at all stages of the management ladder and see how they work collaboratively.
