The Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology provides training, investment, and mentoring for aspiring African technology entrepreneurs with the goal of creating globally successful companies that create wealth and jobs locally in Africa. The program begins at the campus of the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) in Accra, Ghana, with a rigorous, one year, full-time program. Out of an applicant pool of over 2,500 candidates, MEST selects between 50 to 60 top Ghanaian, Nigerian, Kenyan and South African university graduates to receive comprehensive training across the spectrum of skills required to build successful technology businesses, including software development, product management, finance, marketing, sales, and leadership best practices.
