Michael Carney

Michael joined Upfront Ventures as an Associate in 2015. Prior to joining Upfront, Michael was a West Coast Editor at PandoDaily, where he lead the publication’s coverage of the venture capital, financial technologies, ecommerce, on-demand services, and online video sectors. Michael also worked as a Managing Director at WorldVest, a merchant bank based in Los Angeles, leading investments in early stage opportunities within the technology and natural resources sectors in North and South America, and Asia. Michael received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California.
