Michael Chang

Michael Chang is a Managing Director of Altpoint Ventures. Prior to joining Altpoint, Michael co-founded Sonar Group, a multi-strategy fund based in Tokyo. From 2006 to 2011, Michael was a Partner and COO of Generation Group, a directional, long/short hedge fund based in Tokyo. Prior to that, he was a Research Analyst covering multiple sectors at Joho Capital, a long/short hedge fund focused on Asian Equities. Michael began his career in 2002 as an Investment Banking Analyst in the TMT Group of Deutsche Bank in New York.
