When Michael Chen joined True Partners Consulting in 2006, the San Jose office was a newly- formed work in progress, with a limited staff but big aspirations. Today, under Mr. Chen’s leadership, the thriving practice has quintupled in size, with 25 tax professionals he and business partners Louis Gomes, Seung Yoo, and John Boseman have selectively recruited, developed, and trained. Most of the clients are middle-market, publicly-traded Silicon Valley firms. Several Fortune 50 firms are also represented. Mr. Chen is a federal tax generalist with an emphasis on international tax.
