Michael Darby is a Partner and a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Regis in 2007, Mr. Darby has invested in private equity direct and fund investments. He managed a diversified $150M fund for Sterling Stamos, an investment firm with $5B under management. As General Partner for Battery Ventures and Director for Cisco Systems, he returned multiples of invested capital backing technology startups. Mr. Darby previously was a Vice President at the U.S. Investment Fund, an emerging markets private equity firm, and provided strategic advice as part of Booz, Allen & Hamilton. Mr. Darby graduated magna cum laude with an A.B. from Harvard University and received an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
