Previously, Michael was Associate Director of Investments at Sidewalk Labs. In this role, Michael originated and executed infrastructure-focused technology investments and helped to launch SIP. Michael previously was a Vice President at the Macquarie Group, financing renewable energy, power, natural gas, and other energy investments. He was an Associate on the founding team of Nereus, a private equity fund that invests in alternative energy infrastructure in Asia. Michael began his career at J.P. Morgan investment banking, and subsequently at HSH Nordbank, an early investor in renewable energy platforms. Michael graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a BA in Philosophy and Economics and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
