Michael Ebeid

Michael commenced as Managing Director of SBS in June 2011. He has more than 24 years experience in senior management and executive roles across the Technology, Telecommunications and Media industries. Prior to SBS, Michael was the Executive Director of Corporate Strategy and Marketing at the ABC. In 2005, Michael joined Two Way Limited, an interactive TV, mobile and online entertainment media business as COO and then as CEO, where he took the company into Asia. From 1995-2005, Michael was with Optus Communications, where he was Director of Commercial Operations for Consumer and Multimedia, Optus’ largest division with over 3000 staff and revenues of $1.8b. He was also a Board member of subscription TV’s industry body, ASTRA, from 2001-2005. Prior to Optus, Michael was at IBM for nine years in various roles across finance, sales and marketing, and worked in Tokyo and other Asian countries.
