Formerly, Michael was the Chief Financial Officer of Palo Alto Networks where he prepared for the IPO of the network security firm until February of 2012.Prior to that he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sun Microsystems, Inc. a provider of computer systems and professional support services acquired by Oracle in 2009. Michael’s tenure at Sun started in 1989, where he held a number of senior executive positions before being named Chief Financial Officer in February of 1994.Michael received a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin in 1974.
