Michael Scown

Michael Scown is the Treasury Managing Director for Asia and a member of Intel Capital's Asia Investment Committee. Michael focuses on the evaluation, structuring and execution of Intel Capital's investments across Asia as well as the oversight of Intel Capital's Asia portfolio. He joined Intel Capital in 1999 as Intel Capital's Asia Regional Legal Counsel and was a member of Intel Capital's founding Asia management team. Michael moved into his current role in 2006. Prior to joining Intel Capital, Michael practiced corporate and transactional law as a partner with the law firm of Russin and Vecchi in San Francisco and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and served as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State. He is an independent director and member of the audit committee of PRC online travel company eLong (NASDAQ: LONG) and a former director of the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association.
