Michael Sherwood

Mr. Sherwood has been a Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs since February 2008 and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs International since 2005. He is also a member of the Management Committee, Chairman of the Partnership Committee, and a member of the European Management Committee. Prior to becoming a Vice Chairman, he had served as Global Co-Head of Goldman Sachs’ Securities Division since 2003. Prior to that, he had been Head of the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Division (FICC) in Europe since 2001. Michael Sherwood joined Goldman Sachs in 1986 and became a Partner in 1994. Michael is a sponsor of The Harefield Academy and a trustee of Greenhouse Schools.
