Mr. Basha has been working in the mineral exploration industry for 29 years with major and junior exploration companies both domestically and internationally. His experience includes project generation, fieldwork, and senior management in gold, base-metal and magmatic nickel-copper-platinum group elements exploration. Mr. Basha was instrumental in the discovery of the Hammerdown Gold deposit in Newfoundland and was formerly Vice President Exploration of Cornerstone Capital Resources Corp., heading up the generative initiative that led to development of a large portfolio of successful ventures for Cornerstone in Canada and Ecuador. Mr. Basha holds degrees in geology and engineering and in addition to his exploration experience has worked as a consulting geotechnical and environmental engineer in the past.
