Minnesota Angel Network

Minneapolis, US

About

The Company Development Program was established in 2011 under the name the Minnesota Angel Network; to assist a variety of technology-driven high knowledge-based companies develop their business model and investor proposal and connect to funding prospects. The majority of early-stage companies face funding hurdles, the most prevalent is the lack of preparedness to articulate their concept effectively to funders or other strategic partners. The BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota quickly recognized the value and growth opportunities this concept brought to industries and the community. In May 2013 the services of the Minnesota Angel Network program were rolled into a larger suite of commercialization programs called The Innovation Engine. The Innovation Engine incorporates the training aspects initially developed by the Minnesota Angel Network. The Minnesota Angel Network continues as The Innovation Engine managed angel network housing over 1,000 angel investors from across the U.S.
