Mohan Harshey is a Partner in the Innovations Fund (Private Equity) at Tata Capital Ltd. He has over three decades of experience in SME & Corporate lending, Merchant Banking, Private Equity and Investments in both India and United States. At Tata Capital, he successfully conceptualized and launched the Innovations Fund. He has been responsible for the fund to enter into various tie ups with scientific experts so as to give the fund a good foundation for evaluating new technologies. Prior to his joining Tata Capital Ltd, Mohan worked as the Head of Domestic Treasury (with an aggregate investment size of $40 billion) for more than 5 years at State Bank of India (SBI), managing SBI’s various investment portfolios - in money markets, fixed income, mutual funds, listed equity, private equity and strategic investments.
