Alyson Gabel is a member of Advantage Capital Partners’ expansion team, serving as vice president of communications, marketing and policy. Alyson Gabel has nearly a decade of experience in communications strategy, government relations and legislative policy. Prior to joining the team, Alyson Gabel worked for eBay Inc. in federal government relations, serving as PayPal’s Washington representative. In this role, she promoted PayPal as a leader in global online payments, working to influence smart policymaking in the area of mobile payments. After the company’s decision to separate PayPal from eBay, Alyson Gabel was tasked with telling PayPal’s spinoff story to Capitol Hill. Previously, Alyson Gabel worked on Capitol Hill for five years, serving most recently as the legislative director for a U.S. Congressman on the U.S. House Financial Services and Small Business committees.
