Nate Mitchell is a senior technology investor at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Previously, Nate was a Partner at Geodesic Capital where he invested in Duo Security, Looker, Uber, UiPath, JFrog, Marqeta, and Airbnb. Prior to Geodesic, Nate helped run the late stage investing effort at Vulcan Capital, the family office of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. At Vulcan he was actively involved in the investments in Uber, TrueCar (Nasdaq: TRUE), Avvo (acquired by Internet Brands), Spotify (NYSE: SPOT), Zuora (NYSE: ZUO), Magic Leap, Souq.com (acquired by Amazon), Alibaba (NYSE: BABA), and Flipkart (acquired by Walmart). Before joining Vulcan, Nate worked at Index Ventures in London and Geneva where he helped launch Index’s growth fund and invested globally into category-leading companies such as RPX (Nasdaq: RPXC), Mimecast (Nasdaq: MIME), Milestone Systems (acquired by Canon), Etsy (Nasdaq: ETSY) and ASOS (LSE: ASC.L).
