RETAIL AND EDUCATION LEADER NATHAN DUNCAN As general manager at Patagonia in Palo Alto, California, Nathan Duncan is responsible for day-to-day and financial oversight of the store, in addition to serving as a voice for environmental issues in the community. Complementing his efforts in the latter regard, Nathan Duncan completed the outdoor education program at the National Outdoor Leadership School, and has a combined 4 years of experience as an environmental education volunteer with Peace Corps Togo and Peace Corps Guinea. Prior to joining Patagonia in 2019, Nathan Duncan served 5 years as head of school and academic director at Academy at Trails Carolina, where he leveraged adult learning principles to improve professional development efforts, spearheaded curriculum development, and managed the organization’s budget, among other responsibilities.
