Nick Cayou has over 17 years of experience in the technology market. He is the vice president of global alliances at [Pivotal Software](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/pivotal), a technology company that provides enterprise PaaS-based solutions for its users. Prior to Pivotal Software, he led global emerging technology business development for the EMC Data Computing Division after EMC’s, acquisition of Greenplum in 2010. Cayou has held a number of roles in engineering, business development, and consulting at McDATA Corp, EMC Corp, Microsoft, Cisco Systems, in addition to a number of technology startups. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Maryland.
