Niladri is the glue that holds the business and technology/data components of PlaceIQ together. Responsible for building the complete internal and customer facing software stacks, his charter produces an endless number of exciting problems spanning big data analytics, high throughput/low latency algorithms and geo-spatial visualizations. Before joining the team, Niladri was a Core Strategist in the New York and London offices of Goldman Sachs. The Core group developed and maintained the firm’s central trading and risk management system, SecDB, which has been widely regarded as a major technological breakthrough and substantial competitive edge for the business over the last several decades. In addition to the complex, quantitatively rigorous applications he worked on in the financial services industry, he brings substantial experience developing and releasing commercial software to hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
