The NYC Retrofit Accelerator is a key component of Mayor de Blasio’s commitment to reduce New York City’s greenhouse gas emissions by 80 percent by 2050. Increasing the efficiency of New York City’s buildings will improve local air quality, reduce the greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to global climate change, and help New York City reach its ambitious climate goals. The NYC Retrofit Accelerator offers a team of efficiency advisors who are able to provide independent, customized technical assistance and advisory services to building owners and decision-makers at no cost to help them invest in energy and water upgrades. This program will carry on the work of the successful NYC Clean Heat program by continuing to assist buildings that want to convert to cleaner heating fuels.
