Olivier Pécoux

Olivier was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Rothschild Group in 2012. He is also Head of Rothschild’s Global Financial Advisory division. Olivier joined Rothschild in 1991, and has held a number of senior positions within the Group including Co-Head of the Group's healthcare advisory practice, Co-Head of European Investment Banking, and most recently Directeur Général of Paris Orleans, the parent company of the Rothschild Group. Before joining Rothschild, Olivier worked in Lazard Frères & Cie’s M&A division, initially based in Paris and then in New York where he became Vice-President in 1988. Prior to that Olivier acted as a financial adviser to Schlumberger in Europe and the United States, before being promoted to Chief Financial Officer of Applicon, a software subsidiary of Schlumberger. Olivier began his career at Peat Marwick Mitchell. Olivier is on the Board of Essilor.
