Olivier Sichel is the CEO of The Caisse des Dépôts. He has been a Partner with Sofinnova in the technology sector from 2006 to 2012.In July 2012, Olivier joined LeGuide.com, a leading European shopping guide on the internet, as Chairman & CEO. Previously, he was Chairman & CEO of Alapage.com (which he positioned as a leading operator in French e-commerce in 2002) after two years spent at France Telecom. He was then Chairman of Wanadoo, a European leader in Internet and directories and a publicly traded company with a stock market value of €6.5 billion. At Sofinnova Partners, Olivier has invested in OpenERP, Solutions30, Taptu and Twenga. He has been a board member of Streamezzo (sold to Amdocs), Sprice (sold to TravelPort) and blueKiwi (sold to Atos). He is a board member of Solutions30, Inside Secure and has an observer seat with Volubill. Olivier graduated from Essec, a French business school, ENA (the Ecole Nationale d’Administration), and is Inspecteur des Finances.
