Olivier van Riet Paap is a Director in the Benelux Private Equity team, where he focuses on origination, execution and portfolio management. Olivier is a deal team member for Refresco Gerber (Europe's leading bottler of soft drinks and fruit juices for private label and A brands) and has worked on the company’s recent merger with Gerber Emig. He also worked on the recent investment in Basic-Fit (the leading European discount fitness chain). Furthermore, he is part of the Azelis deal team (pan-European specialty chemical distributor), where he is a Board Observer. Prior to joining 3i, Olivier worked for McKinsey & Company, where he was based in Amsterdam and Dubai. He holds a Master of Economics from the Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
